Evangelical Church of England - traditional worship - 11.00 am Sunday morning services - with Licensed Lay Readers, and Holy Communion Order 1 with priest or by extension on usually on the 3rd Sunday, but this can vary.

Fifth Sundays - United Benefice Services with other Churches in the Benefice of Coast and Country (Blackawton, Stoke Fleming and East Allington) in alternating Churches.

Following six years of wonderful leadership with Rev Alison Shaw, who has retired to the beautiful county of Cornwall, we are at present without a Vicar. We have the benefit though of our very special resident readers; Jenny Harris and Peter Barker, who are supported by visiting Clergy. We always look forward to seeing our regular worshippers, plus anyone on holiday or just visiting the area, or even new to the area - you are all so very welcome and please stay for tea, coffee and cake after the service!

St Michael's Church was built in 1836 as chapel of ease for Blackawton. We have a sloped access ramp at the entrance and a small car park in Hynetown Road opposite the church.
